וַיַּעַל נָחָשׁ הָֽעַמּוֹנִי וַיִּחַן עַל ־ יָבֵשׁ גִּלְעָד וַיֹּאמְרוּ כָּל ־ אַנְשֵׁי יָבֵישׁ אֶל ־ נָחָשׁ כְּרָת ־ לָנוּ בְרִית וְנַעַבְדֶֽךָּ ׃
