וַיִּזְעֲקוּ אֶל ־ יְהוָה ויאמר חָטָאנוּ כִּי עָזַבְנוּ אֶת ־ יְהוָה וַנַּעֲבֹד אֶת ־ הַבְּעָלִים וְאֶת ־ הָעַשְׁתָּרוֹת וְעַתָּה הַצִּילֵנוּ מִיַּד אֹיְבֵינוּ וְנַעַבְדֶֽךָּ ׃
