וַיַּאַסְפוּ פְלִשְׁתִּים אֶת ־ מַֽחֲנֵיהֶם לַמִּלְחָמָה וַיֵּאָסְפוּ שֹׂכֹה אֲשֶׁר לִיהוּדָה וַֽיַּחֲנוּ בֵּין ־ שׂוֹכֹה וּבֵין ־ עֲזֵקָה בְּאֶפֶס דַּמִּֽים ׃
