וַיֹּאמֶר הַמֶּלֶךְ לדויג סֹב אַתָּה וּפְגַע בַּכֹּהֲנִים וַיִּסֹּב דויג הָאֲדֹמִי וַיִּפְגַּע ־ הוּא בַּכֹּהֲנִים וַיָּמֶת ׀ בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא שְׁמֹנִים וַחֲמִשָּׁה אִישׁ נֹשֵׂא אֵפוֹד בָּֽד ׃
