וַתָּבֹא אֲבִיגַיִל ׀ אֶל ־ נָבָל וְהִנֵּה ־ לוֹ מִשְׁתֶּה בְּבֵיתוֹ כְּמִשְׁתֵּה הַמֶּלֶךְ וְלֵב נָבָל טוֹב עָלָיו וְהוּא שִׁכֹּר עַד ־ מְאֹד וְלֹֽא ־ הִגִּידָה לּוֹ דָּבָר קָטֹן וְגָדוֹל עַד ־ אוֹר הַבֹּֽקֶר ׃
