וַיֹּאמֶר דָּוִד אֶל ־ לִבּוֹ עַתָּה אֶסָּפֶה יוֹם ־ אֶחָד בְּיַד ־ שָׁאוּל אֵֽין ־ לִי טוֹב כִּי הִמָּלֵט אִמָּלֵט ׀ אֶל ־ אֶרֶץ פְּלִשְׁתִּים וְנוֹאַשׁ מִמֶּנִּי שָׁאוּל לְבַקְשֵׁנִי עוֹד בְּכָל ־ גְּבוּל יִשְׂרָאֵל וְנִמְלַטְתִּי מִיָּדֽוֹ ׃
