וַיֹּאמֶר דָּוִד אֶל ־ אָכִישׁ כִּי מֶה עָשִׂיתִי וּמַה ־ מָּצָאתָ בְעַבְדְּךָ מִיּוֹם אֲשֶׁר הָיִיתִי לְפָנֶיךָ עַד הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה כִּי לֹא אָבוֹא וְנִלְחַמְתִּי בְּאֹיְבֵי אֲדֹנִי הַמֶּֽלֶךְ ׃
