וַיַּעַרְכוּ פְלִשְׁתִּים לִקְרַאת יִשְׂרָאֵל וַתִּטֹּשׁ הַמִּלְחָמָה וַיִּנָּגֶף יִשְׂרָאֵל לִפְנֵי פְלִשְׁתִּים וַיַּכּוּ בַמַּֽעֲרָכָה בַּשָּׂדֶה כְּאַרְבַּעַת אֲלָפִים אִֽישׁ ׃
