וַיִּרְאוּ אַנְשֵֽׁי ־ אַשְׁדּוֹד כִּֽי ־ כֵן וְאָמְרוּ לֹֽא ־ יֵשֵׁב אֲרוֹן אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל עִמָּנוּ כִּֽי ־ קָשְׁתָה יָדוֹ עָלֵינוּ וְעַל דָּגוֹן אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ ׃
