וַיְהִי אַחֲרֵי ׀ הֵסַבּוּ אֹתוֹ וַתְּהִי יַד ־ יְהוָה ׀ בָּעִיר מְהוּמָה גְּדוֹלָה מְאֹד וַיַּךְ אֶת ־ אַנְשֵׁי הָעִיר מִקָּטֹן וְעַד ־ גָּדוֹל וַיִּשָּׂתְרוּ לָהֶם עפלים ׃
