וּֽשְׁמַֽעְיָה הַנָּבִיא בָּא אֶל ־ רְחַבְעָם וְשָׂרֵי יְהוּדָה אֲשֶׁר ־ נֶאֶסְפוּ אֶל ־ יְרוּשָׁלִַם מִפְּנֵי שִׁישָׁק וַיֹּאמֶר לָהֶם כֹּה ־ אָמַר יְהוָה אַתֶּם עֲזַבְתֶּם אֹתִי וְאַף ־ אֲנִי עָזַבְתִּי אֶתְכֶם בְּיַד ־ שִׁישָֽׁק ׃
