וַיַּֽעַמְדוּ בְּנֵי עַמּוֹן וּמוֹאָב עַל ־ יֹשְׁבֵי הַר ־ שֵׂעִיר לְהַחֲרִים וּלְהַשְׁמִיד וּכְכַלּוֹתָם בְּיוֹשְׁבֵי שֵׂעִיר עָזְרוּ אִישׁ ־ בְּרֵעֵהוּ לְמַשְׁחִֽית ׃
