וַֽיִּתְּנֵהוּ יְהוָה אֱלֹהָיו בְּיַד מֶלֶךְ אֲרָם וַיַּכּוּ ־ בוֹ וַיִּשְׁבּוּ מִמֶּנּוּ שִׁבְיָה גְדוֹלָה וַיָּבִיאוּ דַּרְמָשֶׂק וְגַם בְּיַד ־ מֶלֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל נִתָּן וַיַּךְ ־ בּוֹ מַכָּה גְדוֹלָֽה ׃ ס
