וַיָּסַר אֶת ־ אֱלֹהֵי הַנֵּכָר וְאֶת ־ הַסֶּמֶל מִבֵּית יְהוָה וְכָל ־ הַֽמִּזְבְּחוֹת אֲשֶׁר בָּנָה בְּהַר בֵּית ־ יְהוָה וּבִירוּשָׁלִָם וַיַּשְׁלֵךְ חוּצָה לָעִֽיר ׃
