וַיַּגֵּד שָׁפָן הַסּוֹפֵר לַמֶּלֶךְ לֵאמֹר סֵפֶר נָתַן לִי חִלְקִיָּהוּ הַכֹּהֵן וַיִּקְרָא ־ בוֹ שָׁפָן לִפְנֵי הַמֶּֽלֶךְ ׃
