מִן ־ הַיּוֹם אֲשֶׁר הוֹצֵאתִי אֶת ־ עַמִּי מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם לֹא ־ בָחַרְתִּֽי בְעִיר מִכֹּל שִׁבְטֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לִבְנוֹת בַּיִת לִהְיוֹת שְׁמִי שָׁם וְלֹא ־ בָחַרְתִּֽי בְאִישׁ לִהְיוֹת נָגִיד עַל ־ עַמִּי יִשְׂרָאֵֽל ׃
