וַיָּבֹאוּ כָל ־ עַם הָאָרֶץ בֵּית ־ הַבַּעַל וַֽיִּתְּצֻהוּ אֶת ־ מזבחתו וְאֶת ־ צְלָמָיו שִׁבְּרוּ הֵיטֵב וְאֵת מַתָּן כֹּהֵן הַבַּעַל הָרְגוּ לִפְנֵי הַֽמִּזְבְּחוֹת וַיָּשֶׂם הַכֹּהֵן פְּקֻדּוֹת עַל ־ בֵּית יְהוָֽה ׃
