וַתִּקַּח יְהוֹשֶׁבַע בַּת ־ הַמֶּֽלֶךְ ־ יוֹרָם אֲחוֹת אֲחַזְיָהוּ אֶת ־ יוֹאָשׁ בֶּן ־ אֲחַזְיָה וַתִּגְנֹב אֹתוֹ מִתּוֹךְ בְּנֵֽי ־ הַמֶּלֶךְ הממותתים אֹתוֹ וְאֶת ־ מֵינִקְתּוֹ בַּחֲדַר הַמִּטּוֹת וַיַּסְתִּרוּ אֹתוֹ מִפְּנֵי עֲתַלְיָהוּ וְלֹא הוּמָֽת ׃
