וּבַשָּׁנָה הַשְּׁבִיעִית שָׁלַח יְהוֹיָדָע וַיִּקַּח ׀ אֶת ־ שָׂרֵי המאיות לַכָּרִי וְלָרָצִים וַיָּבֵא אֹתָם אֵלָיו בֵּית יְהוָה וַיִּכְרֹת לָהֶם בְּרִית וַיַּשְׁבַּע אֹתָם בְּבֵית יְהוָה וַיַּרְא אֹתָם אֶת ־ בֶּן ־ הַמֶּֽלֶךְ ׃
