וַיָּקֻמוּ עֲבָדָיו וַיִּקְשְׁרֽוּ ־ קָשֶׁר וַיַּכּוּ אֶת ־ יוֹאָשׁ בֵּית מִלֹּא הַיּוֹרֵד סִלָּֽא ׃ וְיוֹזָבָד בֶּן ־ שִׁמְעָת וִיהוֹזָבָד בֶּן ־ שֹׁמֵר ׀ עֲבָדָיו הִכֻּהוּ וַיָּמֹת וַיִּקְבְּרוּ אֹתוֹ עִם ־ אֲבֹתָיו בְּעִיר דָּוִד וַיִּמְלֹךְ אֲמַצְיָה בְנוֹ תַּחְתָּֽיו ׃ פ
