אִם ־ אָמַרְנוּ נָבוֹא הָעִיר וְהָרָעָב בָּעִיר וָמַתְנוּ שָׁם וְאִם ־ יָשַׁבְנוּ פֹה וָמָתְנוּ וְעַתָּה לְכוּ וְנִפְּלָה אֶל ־ מַחֲנֵה אֲרָם אִם ־ יְחַיֻּנוּ נִֽחְיֶה וְאִם ־ יְמִיתֻנוּ וָמָֽתְנוּ ׃
