וַיְהִי כָל ־ הָעָם נָדוֹן בְּכָל ־ שִׁבְטֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לֵאמֹר הַמֶּלֶךְ הִצִּילָנוּ ׀ מִכַּף אֹיְבֵינוּ וְהוּא מִלְּטָנוּ מִכַּף פְּלִשְׁתִּים וְעַתָּה בָּרַח מִן ־ הָאָרֶץ מֵעַל אַבְשָׁלֽוֹם ׃
