וַיֹּאמֶר אֲרַוְנָה מַדּוּעַ בָּא אֲדֹנִֽי ־ הַמֶּלֶךְ אֶל ־ עַבְדּוֹ וַיֹּאמֶר דָּוִד לִקְנוֹת מֵעִמְּךָ אֶת ־ הַגֹּרֶן לִבְנוֹת מִזְבֵּחַ לַֽיהוָה וְתֵעָצַר הַמַּגֵּפָה מֵעַל הָעָֽם ׃
