וַיִּשְׁלַח תֹּעִי אֶת ־ יֽוֹרָם ־ בְּנוֹ אֶל ־ הַמֶּֽלֶךְ ־ דָּוִד לִשְׁאָל ־ לוֹ לְשָׁלוֹם וּֽלְבָרֲכוֹ עַל אֲשֶׁר נִלְחַם בַּהֲדַדְעֶזֶר וַיַּכֵּהוּ כִּי ־ אִישׁ מִלְחֲמוֹת תֹּעִי הָיָה הֲדַדְעָזֶר וּבְיָדוֹ הָיוּ כְּלֵֽי ־ כֶסֶף וּכְלֵֽי ־ זָהָב וּכְלֵי נְחֹֽשֶׁת ׃
