וַיָּשֶׂם דָּנִיֵּאל עַל ־ לִבּוֹ אֲשֶׁר לֹֽא ־ יִתְגָּאַל בְּפַתְבַּג הַמֶּלֶךְ וּבְיֵין מִשְׁתָּיו וַיְבַקֵּשׁ מִשַּׂר הַסָּרִיסִים אֲשֶׁר לֹא יִתְגָּאָֽל ׃
