וַֽתַּעֲנוּ ׀ וַתֹּאמְרוּ אֵלַי חָטָאנוּ לַֽיהוָה אֲנַחְנוּ נַעֲלֶה וְנִלְחַמְנוּ כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר ־ צִוָּנוּ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ וַֽתַּחְגְּרוּ אִישׁ אֶת ־ כְּלֵי מִלְחַמְתּוֹ וַתָּהִינוּ לַעֲלֹת הָהָֽרָה ׃
