וַיֹּאמֶר הָמָן לַמֶּלֶךְ אֲחַשְׁוֵרוֹשׁ יֶשְׁנוֹ עַם ־ אֶחָד מְפֻזָּר וּמְפֹרָד בֵּין הָֽעַמִּים בְּכֹל מְדִינוֹת מַלְכוּתֶךָ וְדָתֵיהֶם שֹׁנוֹת מִכָּל ־ עָם וְאֶת ־ דָּתֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ אֵינָם עֹשִׂים וְלַמֶּלֶךְ אֵין ־ שֹׁוֶה לְהַנִּיחָֽם ׃
