וַיֻּגַּד לְמֶלֶךְ מִצְרַיִם כִּי בָרַח הָעָם וַיֵּהָפֵךְ לְבַב פַּרְעֹה וַעֲבָדָיו אֶל ־ הָעָם וַיֹּֽאמרוּ מַה ־ זֹּאת עָשִׂינוּ כִּֽי ־ שִׁלַּחְנוּ אֶת ־ יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵעָבְדֵֽנוּ ׃
