וַיִגְדַּל הַיֶּלֶד וַתְּבִאֵהוּ לְבַת ־ פַּרְעֹה וַֽיְהִי ־ לָהּ לְבֵן וַתִּקְרָא שְׁמוֹ מֹשֶׁה וַתֹּאמֶר כִּי מִן ־ הַמַּיִם מְשִׁיתִֽהוּ ׃
