וַיֹּאמְרוּ אֱלֹהֵי הָעִבְרִים נִקְרָא עָלֵינוּ נֵלֲכָה נָּא דֶּרֶךְ שְׁלֹשֶׁת יָמִים בַּמִּדְבָּר וְנִזְבְּחָה לַֽיהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ פֶּן ־ יִפְגָּעֵנוּ בַּדֶּבֶר אוֹ בֶחָֽרֶב ׃
