כֹּה אָמַר כֹּרֶשׁ מֶלֶךְ פָּרַס כֹּל מַמְלְכוֹת הָאָרֶץ נָתַן לִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי הַשָּׁמָיִם וְהֽוּא ־ פָקַד עָלַי לִבְנֽוֹת ־ לוֹ בַיִת בִּירוּשָׁלִַם אֲשֶׁר בִּֽיהוּדָֽה ׃
