וּכְהִתְפַּלֵּל עֶזְרָא וּכְהִתְוַדֹּתוֹ בֹּכֶה וּמִתְנַפֵּל לִפְנֵי בֵּית הָאֱלֹהִים נִקְבְּצוּ אֵלָיו מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל קָהָל רַב ־ מְאֹד אֲנָשִׁים וְנָשִׁים וִֽילָדִים כִּֽי ־ בָכוּ הָעָם הַרְבֵּה ־ בֶֽכֶה ׃ ס
