וַֽיִּשְׁאֲלוּ אַנְשֵׁי הַמָּקוֹם לְאִשְׁתּוֹ וַיֹּאמֶר אֲחֹתִי הִוא כִּי יָרֵא לֵאמֹר אִשְׁתִּי פֶּן ־ יַֽהַרְגֻנִי אַנְשֵׁי הַמָּקוֹם עַל ־ רִבְקָה כִּֽי ־ טוֹבַת מַרְאֶה הִֽיא ׃
