וַיָּרַח יְהוָה אֶת ־ רֵיחַ הַנִּיחֹחַ וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל ־ לִבּוֹ לֹֽא ־ אֹסִף לְקַלֵּל עוֹד אֶת ־ הָֽאֲדָמָה בַּעֲבוּר הָֽאָדָם כִּי יֵצֶר לֵב הָאָדָם רַע מִנְּעֻרָיו וְלֹֽא ־ אֹסִף עוֹד לְהַכּוֹת אֶת ־ כָּל ־ חַי כַּֽאֲשֶׁר עָשִֽׂיתִי ׃
