הִנְנִי שֹׁלֵחַ וְלָקַחְתִּי אֶת ־ כָּל ־ מִשְׁפְּחוֹת צָפוֹן נְאֻם ־ יְהוָה וְאֶל ־ נְבֽוּכַדְרֶאצַּר מֶֽלֶךְ ־ בָּבֶל עַבְדִּי וַהֲבִאֹתִים עַל ־ הָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת וְעַל ־ יֹשְׁבֶיהָ וְעַל כָּל ־ הַגּוֹיִם הָאֵלֶּה סָבִיב וְהַחֲרַמְתִּים וְשַׂמְתִּים לְשַׁמָּה וְלִשְׁרֵקָה וּלְחָרְבוֹת עוֹלָֽם ׃
