וַיֹּאמְרוּ הַכֹּהֲנִים וְהַנְּבִאִים אֶל ־ הַשָּׂרִים וְאֶל ־ כָּל ־ הָעָם לֵאמֹר מִשְׁפַּט ־ מָוֶת לָאִישׁ הַזֶּה כִּי נִבָּא אֶל ־ הָעִיר הַזֹּאת כַּאֲשֶׁר שְׁמַעְתֶּם בְּאָזְנֵיכֶֽם ׃
