וַיֹּאמְרוּ אֶֽל ־ יִרְמְיָהוּ הַנָּבִיא תִּפָּל ־ נָא תְחִנָּתֵנוּ לְפָנֶיךָ וְהִתְפַּלֵּל בַּעֲדֵנוּ אֶל ־ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ בְּעַד כָּל ־ הַשְּׁאֵרִית הַזֹּאת כִּֽי ־ נִשְׁאַרְנוּ מְעַט מֵֽהַרְבֵּה כַּאֲשֶׁר עֵינֶיךָ רֹאוֹת אֹתָֽנוּ ׃
