וַיְהִי בִשְׁלֹשִׁים וָשֶׁבַע שָׁנָה לְגָלוּת יְהוֹיָכִן מֶֽלֶךְ ־ יְהוּדָה בִּשְׁנֵים עָשָׂר חֹדֶשׁ בְּעֶשְׂרִים וַחֲמִשָּׁה לַחֹדֶשׁ נָשָׂא אֱוִיל מְרֹדַךְ מֶלֶךְ בָּבֶל בִּשְׁנַת מַלְכֻתוֹ אֶת ־ רֹאשׁ יְהוֹיָכִין מֶֽלֶךְ ־ יְהוּדָה וַיֹּצֵא אוֹתוֹ מִבֵּית הכליא ׃
