וַיִּקְרְאוּ אֶל ־ יְהוָה וַיֹּאמְרוּ אָנָּה יְהוָה אַל ־ נָא נֹאבְדָה בְּנֶפֶשׁ הָאִישׁ הַזֶּה וְאַל ־ תִּתֵּן עָלֵינוּ דָּם נָקִיא כִּֽי ־ אַתָּה יְהוָה כַּאֲשֶׁר חָפַצְתָּ עָשִֽׂיתָ ׃
