וַיִּשְׁלַח יְהוֹשֻׁעַ ־ בִּן ־ נוּן מִֽן ־ הַשִּׁטִּים שְׁנַֽיִם ־ אֲנָשִׁים מְרַגְּלִים חֶרֶשׁ לֵאמֹר לְכוּ רְאוּ אֶת ־ הָאָרֶץ וְאֶת ־ יְרִיחוֹ וַיֵּלְכוּ וַיָּבֹאוּ בֵּית ־ אִשָּׁה זוֹנָה וּשְׁמָהּ רָחָב וַיִּשְׁכְּבוּ ־ שָֽׁמָּה ׃
