וַיִּיטַב הַדָּבָר בְּעֵינֵי בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיְבָרֲכוּ אֱלֹהִים בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְלֹא אָמְרוּ לַעֲלוֹת עֲלֵיהֶם לַצָּבָא לְשַׁחֵת אֶת ־ הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר בְּנֵי ־ רְאוּבֵן וּבְנֵי ־ גָד יֹשְׁבִים בָּֽהּ ׃
