וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוֹשֻׁעַ אֶל ־ כָּל ־ הָעָם כֹּֽה ־ אָמַר יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּעֵבֶר הַנָּהָר יָשְׁבוּ אֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶם מֵֽעוֹלָם תֶּרַח אֲבִי אַבְרָהָם וַאֲבִי נָחוֹר וַיַּעַבְדוּ אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִֽים ׃
