וַיַּכּוּ מֵהֶם אַנְשֵׁי הָעַי כִּשְׁלֹשִׁים וְשִׁשָּׁה אִישׁ וַֽיִּרְדְּפוּם לִפְנֵי הַשַּׁעַר עַד ־ הַשְּׁבָרִים וַיַּכּוּם בַּמּוֹרָד וַיִּמַּס לְבַב ־ הָעָם וַיְהִי לְמָֽיִם ׃
