וַיֹּאמְרוּ כָל ־ הַנְּשִׂיאִים אֶל ־ כָּל ־ הָעֵדָה אֲנַחְנוּ נִשְׁבַּעְנוּ לָהֶם בַּֽיהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְעַתָּה לֹא נוּכַל לִנְגֹּעַ בָּהֶֽם ׃
