וַיֵּלֶךְ בַּמִּדְבָּר וַיָּסָב אֶת ־ אֶרֶץ אֱדוֹם וְאֶת ־ אֶרֶץ מוֹאָב וַיָּבֹא מִמִּזְרַח ־ שֶׁמֶשׁ לְאֶרֶץ מוֹאָב וַֽיַּחֲנוּן בְּעֵבֶר אַרְנוֹן וְלֹא ־ בָאוּ בִּגְבוּל מוֹאָב כִּי אַרְנוֹן גְּבוּל מוֹאָֽב ׃
