וַיִּפְנוּ וַיָּנֻסוּ הַמִּדְבָּרָה אֶל ־ סֶלַע הָֽרִמּוֹן וַיְעֹֽלְלֻהוּ בַּֽמְסִלּוֹת חֲמֵשֶׁת אֲלָפִים אִישׁ וַיַּדְבִּיקוּ אַחֲרָיו עַד ־ גִּדְעֹם וַיַּכּוּ מִמֶּנּוּ אַלְפַּיִם אִֽישׁ ׃
