וַֽיִּלְכְּדוּ שְׁנֵֽי ־ שָׂרֵי מִדְיָן אֶת ־ עֹרֵב וְאֶת ־ זְאֵב וַיַּהַרְגוּ אֶת ־ עוֹרֵב בְּצוּר ־ עוֹרֵב וְאֶת ־ זְאֵב הָרְגוּ בְיֶֽקֶב ־ זְאֵב וַֽיִּרְדְּפוּ אֶל ־ מִדְיָן וְרֹאשׁ ־ עֹרֵב וּזְאֵב הֵבִיאוּ אֶל ־ גִּדְעוֹן מֵעֵבֶר לַיַּרְדֵּֽן ׃
