וָאֹמְרָה לָהֶם אֲנַחְנוּ קָנִינוּ אֶת ־ אַחֵינוּ הַיְּהוּדִים הַנִּמְכָּרִים לַגּוֹיִם כְּדֵי בָנוּ וְגַם ־ אַתֶּם תִּמְכְּרוּ אֶת ־ אֲחֵיכֶם וְנִמְכְּרוּ ־ לָנוּ וַֽיַּחֲרִישׁוּ וְלֹא מָצְאוּ דָּבָֽר ׃ ס
