וַיָּבֹאוּ הַבָּנִים וַיִּֽירְשׁוּ אֶת ־ הָאָרֶץ וַתַּכְנַע לִפְנֵיהֶם אֶת ־ יֹשְׁבֵי הָאָרֶץ הַכְּנַעֲנִים וַֽתִּתְּנֵם בְּיָדָם וְאֶת ־ מַלְכֵיהֶם וְאֶת ־ עַֽמְמֵי הָאָרֶץ לַעֲשׂוֹת בָּהֶם כִּרְצוֹנָֽם ׃
