וַיְהִי הָעָם כְּמִתְאֹנְנִים רַע בְּאָזְנֵי יְהוָה וַיִּשְׁמַע יְהוָה וַיִּחַר אַפּוֹ וַתִּבְעַר ־ בָּם אֵשׁ יְהוָה וַתֹּאכַל בִּקְצֵה הַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה ׃
